Absa Bank is seeking a Channel Manager: Sales and Service to lead a customer-facing sales and service operation in a major market within South Africa. You will drive growth, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure governance and operational excellence across multiple service points.

The role focuses on developing people, strengthening client relationships, and achieving sustainable business results in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualificações

• Essential Bachelor's degree in Banking or Business Administration.
• FAIS-compliant with regulatory requirements.
• RE5 qualification where applicable.
• Proven leadership experience in financial services and sales.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales and service team.
• Drive the achievement of sales, retention, service and profitability objectives.
• Create a culture of accountability, customer excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS, regulatory and governance requirements.
• Develop and execute local market growth and client acquisition strategies.
• Analyze performance trends and implement initiatives to improve business outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners and key stakeholders.
• Foster employee engagement and talent development within the team.
• Manage operational risk while ensuring efficient branch and service delivery operations.
