Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking a Store Manager in Cape Town to oversee store operations, champion the Sorbet culture, and drive guest and citizen-focused service. You will lead a team, ensure profitability, and uphold brand standards across merchandising and marketing campaigns.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, stock control, cash handling, and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced FMCG retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a store management role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment.
• Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints within 24 hours.
• Understand and advise guests on all treatments in the menu.
• Actively promote and up/cross sell treatments.
• Handle guest questions and concerns in a professional and accurate manner.
• Manage stock receiving procedures as per Sorbet Franchise Systems Manual.
• Check stock has been captured accurately on ESP by FDCs.
• Manage cash takings, check cash-ups for accuracy and ensure daily banking.
