Job summary

Manpower Group is seeking a capable Retail Store Supervisor in Gauteng to oversee daily operations, lead a focused team, and drive exceptional customer experiences. You will manage scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and loss prevention while upholding merchandising standards and KPI targets.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of supervisory retail experience, strong knowledge of POS systems and stock control, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset capable of leading without micromanagement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ supervisory or management experience in a busy retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, loss prevention, and cash handling procedures.
• Proven ability to manage scheduling, staff performance, and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving targets in a high-energy setting.
• Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to lead without micro-management.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
