Job summary

Ackermans is seeking a store supervisor/manager to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service. You will implement the operations strategy, manage staff performance, and maintain outstanding store standards across the shop floor.

The role requires a minimum of two years in retail with at least one year in a supervisory or management position, strong inventory and cost control skills, and the ability to lead a team while representing the Ackermans brand with energy and credibility.

Qualifications

• Brand custodian and representative of the store image
• Energetic self-starter with proactive mindset
• 2 years in retail with at least 1 year in supervisory/management
• Outstanding stock management, merchandise and cost control
• Maintain high store standards
• Proven ability to influence and lead a team

• Effective English communication; second official language an advantage
• Grade 12 or equivalent; further retail/business qualifications are a plus
