Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a high-performing store in Ballito. You will manage daily operations, drive sales, control costs, and ensure excellent customer service while developing a motivated team.

The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills and the ability to implement brand standards. Permanent position with full-time hours, reporting to Area Manager.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum with Maths and English 50% or higher.
• Bachelor's/ Diploma in retail, finance management, pharmacy or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a store management role in retail/FMCG.
• Financial management experience (budgets, P&L, ratios).

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct store operations to meet sales, profit and compliance targets.
• Drive and maximise store sales; monitor daily/weekly/monthly targets.
• Manage stock, shrinkage, expenses and administration efficiently.
• Oversee in-store visual merchandising to maintain brand standards.
• Recruit, train and develop staff to build capability and meet business needs.
• Schedule staff in line with labour policy and ensure coverage for all departments.
