Job summary

Pedros in Klerksdorp is opening a brand-new store and seeking a dynamic manager to lead the launch. You will oversee daily restaurant operations, drive sales, and ensure top customer service while managing a team. Strong organizational and people skills are essential for a successful launch and ongoing performance.

You will be responsible for staff development, stock control, health and safety compliance, and executing promotions to grow profitability in a fast-paced take-away environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant and fast-food service (minimum 3 years).
• GAAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong management and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation of the restaurant/take-away.
• Maintain quality standards and compliance with SOPs.
• Manage stock control, purchasing and orders.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain service levels.
• Drive profitability and meet sales/GP targets; motivate staff.
• Lead staff, rosters, training and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with team to drive store forward and ensure safety
• Ensure daily opening/closing procedures are followed.
• Coordinate marketing activities and promotions at the store.
• Recruit, select, and develop the store team to boost productivity.
