Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking a Stock Reporting Administrator in Durban, South Africa, to support accurate stock reporting, auditing and reconciliation across a retail environment.

The role requires strong Excel skills, retail or store experience, and exceptional attention to detail. You will collect weekly stock data, review reports, and assist with stock audits and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
  • Retail/store experience is essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas.
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and consolidate weekly stock-related information from retail stores.
  • Review reports to ensure data are accurate, complete and consistent.
  • Compile, format and distribute weekly stock audit and reporting packs.
  • Follow up with stores regarding missing, incomplete or inconsistent information.
  • Analyse stock data to identify variances and trends for investigation.
  • Capture stocktake information and assist with stock reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate, organized filing systems (electronic/physical).
  • Provide admin support during routine and ad-hoc stock audits.
  • Assist finance, audit and related teams with reporting needs.
  • Ensure information is handled confidentially per controls and policy.

Are you highly organised, analytical and confident workingwith Excel? We are looking for a Stock Reporting Administrator to play akey role in supporting accurate stock reporting, auditing and reconciliationacross a retail environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strongExcel skills, retail/store experience and exceptional attention to detail whoenjoys working with data, identifying discrepancies and ensuring reporting isaccurate and up to date.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and consolidate weekly stock-relatedinformation and supporting documentation from retail stores.
  • Review submitted reports to ensure data isaccurate, complete and consistent.
  • Compile, format and distribute weekly stockaudit and reporting packs.
  • Follow up with stores regarding missing,incomplete or inconsistent information.
  • Analyse stock data to identify variances,irregularities and trends requiring further investigation.
  • Capture physical stocktake information andassist with stock reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate, organised and secureelectronic and/or physical filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support during routineand ad-hoc stock audits.
  • Assist finance, audit and related teams withreporting and administrative requirements.
  • Ensure all information is handled confidentiallyand in accordance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Grade 12 / Matric – essential.
  • Previous experience within a retail or storeenvironment – essential.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills,including:
    • Formulas
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
