Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. seeks a capable Steward Supervisor to lead a team of stewards aboard our ship, ensuring top-tier service and immaculate cleanliness.

You will supervise, train, and motivate staff while maintaining high safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include inventory control, scheduling, inspections, coordinating with other departments, addressing guest feedback, and contributing to budget planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in hospitality or cruise industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in budget planning and cost control for stewarding.
• Train new hires and provide ongoing training for staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Stewarding Manager.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas of the ship are clean and well-maintained

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies and equipment

- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas of the ship are cleaned regularly and thoroughly

- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to cleanliness

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to stewards

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards

- Assist in budget planning and cost control measures for the stewarding department

- Train new hires and provide ongoing training and development for current stewards

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Stewarding Manager.
