Placements24 seeks a vibrant Events Coordinator for a premier sports and hospitality venue in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will manage the full event lifecycle from client consultation to post-event evaluation, coordinating logistics, budgeting, and vendor liaison.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Events Coordinator or similar in hospitality or sports.
• Strong understanding of event planning principles and logistics.
• Excellent organizational and time management, multitasking capability.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire event lifecycle from client consultation to post-event evaluation.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate venue setup, catering, AV, and staffing logistics.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Conduct site inspections and client meetings to discuss requirements.
• Oversee event day execution to ensure smooth operation.
• Manage guest lists, RSVPs and attendee communications.
• Handle event-related issues calmly and effectively.
• Prepare post-event reports including financial reconciliation and feedback analysis.
• Contribute to marketing and promotion of event services.
