Placements24 is seeking a Specialist Recruitment Consultant to drive end-to-end recruitment for industrial roles in the Richards Bay area. You will source, screen, interview, and place candidates while building strong client relationships with manufacturers, logistics and engineering firms.

You will leverage your industry knowledge and proactive sourcing to fill roles efficiently, delivering excellent candidate experiences and contributing to the success of the industrial practice.

Our client, a reputable recruitment consultancy with a strong presence in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal , is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Specialist Recruitment Consultant focusing on the Industrial sector. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for connecting talent with opportunities in manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and operations. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for industrial roles, build lasting relationships with clients in the Richards Bay area and beyond, and contribute to the continued success of our client's specialist division. Key Responsibilities

Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of industrial positions, including plant operators, engineers, technicians, supply chain specialists, and management roles, within the Richards Bay region. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract skilled candidates for often hard-to-fill positions. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the industrial sector. Conduct detailed needs assessments with clients to fully understand their requirements and company culture. Manage the entire recruitment process from initial contact to offer negotiation and placement. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industrial market trends, salary benchmarks, and key players in KwaZulu-Natal . Utilize recruitment databases and CRM systems to manage candidate information and track recruitment progress. Provide exceptional service to both clients and candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the process. Contribute to team goals and the overall success of the recruitment consultancy.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record in the industrial sector. Strong understanding of common industrial roles, skill sets, and industry terminology. Excellent interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates. Proficiency in using recruitment software and platforms. A proactive, self-motivated attitude with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and meet deadlines. A relevant tertiary qualification is an advantage. Experience recruiting for roles in the Richards Bay area or general KwaZulu-Natal industrial market is highly desirable.
