Job summary

Simera Sense is seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Manager in Cape Town to bridge commercial and engineering teams. You will identify opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and tailor solutions delivering value to customers and the business.

You will own pre-sales activities, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and lead technical presentations with customer engineers and system architects, ensuring technically sound commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree required with space/aerospace relevance.
• Experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or pre-sales for space/aerospace preferred.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch/French/Afrikaans are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in EO payload and related services.
• Own technical pre-sales from first contact to proposal and negotiation.
• Translate customer needs into technical briefs for Engineering and Sales aligned with project delivery.
