Qualifications

• Ability to operate a busy guest and spa reception area under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate a busy Guest & Spa Reception area confidently.
• Process bookings and payments; perform administrative tasks.
• Re-book clients where applicable to maintain business flow.
• Interact with guests from around the world in a high-end environment.
• Maintain a 5-star appearance and professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with team while also working independently when needed.

Job description

START DATE: ASAP / 01 October 2026

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday trading
• 09:00am - 17:00pm
• Shifts rotate including off days

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R10,000 - R12,000 Basic Salary per month (Neg. BOE)
• Service Commission (for any treatment rendered by you)
• Retail Commission earned for all retail sold by you
• Performance based incentives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits)
• Reliable transport within the Cape Winelands - we do not offer public transport
• Professionally groomed - 5-star appearance - looking the part
• Knowledge and experience of spa treatments, terminology and spa industry - this is very important
• ESP or similar booking systems confident
• Knowledgeable on spa, holistic wellness and trends around the world as our guests are multi nationals paying a premium to use our spa facilities
• Professional English command (read, write & speak)

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Confident operating a very busy Guest & Spa Reception area
• Able to work under pressure and deal with multiple points of communication simultaneously
• Confident processing bookings, payments and perform administrative tasks
• Confident in your lingo of the spa sector
• Confidently re-book clients where applicable
• Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
• Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
