Job summary

Futurelink Global Recruitment in Midrand is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Trainer to develop and upskill retail sales teams through product knowledge, sales techniques, customer-service training and performance coaching. The role involves traveling to various outlets to assess and improve performance.

You will conduct training programs, analyse gaps, and work with management to implement development plans while maintaining strong product knowledge and up-to-date promotions and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• 2-3 years experience in retail sales management, sales training and customer service.
• Experience as Sales Trainer, Retail Manager or Sales Team Leader.
• Proven training or coaching experience with sales employees.
• Experience with sales targets and performance metrics.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own vehicle is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel throughout South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service for in-house and retail sales personnel.
• Analyse sales performance to identify knowledge and skills gaps.
• Work with management to implement performance improvement programmes.
• Maintain strong product knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Train sales staff on promotions, campaigns and new products.
• Promote consistent customer service standards across retail outlets.
• Assessment and monitoring of retail outlets.
