Job summary

Talent Room's client is seeking a driven External Sales Representative to join their solar energy team in George. The role focuses on developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and generating sales opportunities across the Garden Route.

You will conduct face-to-face meetings, present solar PV systems, inverters and batteries, prepare quotations, and negotiate terms within company guidelines while traveling regularly in the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 / Matric
• Proven external, field or B2B sales experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
• Proactive self-motivation for new business development

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the George and Garden Route territory.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing customers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, site visits and business development activities.
• Understand customers’ energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
• Present solar PV systems, inverters, batteries and related products and services.
• Prepare, present and follow up on quotations and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat and additional sales.
• Conduct regular customer and site visits.
