Job summary

Talent Room is seeking an External Sales Representative to drive new business and manage customer relationships in Centurion, Pretoria and surrounding Gauteng markets. You will present solar PV systems, provide quotations, and negotiate terms with clients.

Responsibilities include face-to-face meetings, lead generation, and regular site visits to understand energy needs and offer suitable solar solutions. Travel within Gauteng is expected.

Qualifications

• External, field or B2B sales experience required.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Gauteng.
• Good computer literacy, CRM, MS Office and email.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer relationships and generating sales opportunities across the Centurion, Pretoria and surrounding Gauteng markets.

Description:

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the Centurion, Pretoria and surrounding Gauteng territory.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing customers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, networking, site visits and business development activities.
• Understand customers’ energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
• Present solar PV systems, inverters, batteries and related products and services.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previous external, field or business-to-business sales experience.

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned Gauteng territory.
• Good computer literacy, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office and email.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to new business development.
