VueToronto is building an in-house capability for credit applications, focusing on loan origination, risk assessment, and automated fulfilment within an integrated ecosystem. The role offers growth as the product matures and the team expands.

The successful candidate will contribute across front-end and back-end development, adhering to SDLC, and deploying microservices on Kubernetes while working with Vue.js and Java stacks.

Formación

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in development using Java is required.
• 3+ years' proven experience in front-end and back-end software development, project delivery and implementation in relevant development technologies.
• Adherence to SDLC and IT systems development processes.
• Expertise in algorithms and data structures.
• Knowledge of design patterns and debugging skills.
• Hands-on with Git / GitHub, RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and microservice/event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Vue.js with Micro Front-end approach; Java back-end development; Kubernetes/containerisation.
• Database systems and query optimisation.

About this role

We are building an in-house capability for credit applications - specifically loan origination and risk assessment processes coupled with automated fulfilment. It is a heavily integrated ecosystembuilt on a domain-driven architecture feeding into the existing loan management system for origination and risk assessment.

The successful candidate will grow with the team as the application and tech stack mature. The philosophy is to hire people who develop alongside the product

Tech Stack

• The front end is built on Vue.js, using Micro Front-end technology.
• The application is connected to a database, uses Kubernetes for containerisation
• Postgres SQL as the database system.
• Outbound services are all coded in Java - Java is a firm requirement for this role.

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in development using Java is required.
• 3+ years' proven experience in front-end and back-end software development, project delivery and implementation in relevant development technologies.
