The role requires 2–4 years in smart infra sales, strong stakeholder skills, and willingness to travel extensively within the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• 2–4 years' sales experience in Smart Infrastructure or related fields.
• Experience with municipalities, utilities, consulting engineers, contractors, developers or large private sector organizations is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within municipalities, utilities, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, data centres, water and wastewater facilities, and private sector infrastructure projects.
• Identify, develop, and manage opportunities across the Smart Infrastructure portfolio (MV/LV switchgear, Substation Automation, Protection Systems, Microgrids, Electrification Solutions, After-Market Services).
• Build and maintain relationships with municipal engineers, infrastructure managers, consultants, developers, EPC contractors, utilities, and private sector decision-makers.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, investment plans, and infrastructure opportunities in the region.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management through CRM systems.
• Prepare, coordinate, and negotiate technical and commercial proposals with engineering teams and management.
• Drive development of service and maintenance opportunities to grow installed base and After-Market business.
• Coordinate successful execution of awarded projects and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.
• Act as primary commercial interface for assigned customers and foster cross-functional collaboration for customer support.
• Promote digitalization, electrification, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure aligned with customer objectives.
• Complete all sales, market intelligence, and revenue-related reporting requirements.
