Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Site Engineer on civil construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction plans.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Familiarity with South African building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for managing site teams.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and technical specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, translating them into practical construction tasks.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards and client expectations.
• Manage site logistics, including scheduling of materials, equipment, and labour.
• Identify and resolve on-site engineering issues, coordinating with the project management team.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for the project manager.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, measurements, and resources used.
