Placements24 is seeking a diligent Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities around Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will interpret engineering plans, supervise site operations, manage resources and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

This is a site-based role requiring strong coordination with contractors and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of site experience in infrastructure projects and can deliver on-time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years site-based civil construction experience.
• Experience supervising roads, earthworks, drainage.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site civil construction activities.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and specs to guide work.
• Ensure schedules, quality standards and safety protocols are met.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
