Job summary

homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional in-showroom customer experience and convert visits into sales.

You will demonstrate products, communicate features and pricing from the current catalogue, process orders, payments, refunds and credits, and support stock and showroom standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required; Matric and at least 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience.
• Customer-facing sales experience in a target-driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional in-showroom customer experience and convert visits into sales.
• Demonstrate products, communicating features, benefits, pricing and promotions from the current catalogue.
• Capture orders, processing payments, refunds and credits accurately and timeously.
• Maintain showroom standards, stock handling, and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Support administration and basic store operations in line with policies and procedures.
