Job summary

homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional showroom experience. You will convert visits into sales through effective product demonstrations, needs analysis and accurate order processing.

Role focuses on frontline sales, customer service, administration and adherence to standards, supporting Store Supervisor and Showroom Manager to achieve sales and service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Minimum 1 year retail sales experience.
• Customer-facing sales experience in a target-driven environment.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Homewares retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers on the showroom floor to understand needs and convert to sales.
• Demonstrate products with clear features, benefits, pricing and promotions.
• Achieve personal sales targets and conversion rates.
• Capture orders, process payments, refunds and credits accurately.
• Maintain stock, merchandising and showroom standards.
• Follow catalogues and approved pricing in all quotes.
