Qualifications

• Matric certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial underwriting and/or sales support within short-term insurance.
• Technical knowledge of short-term insurance products and processes.
• FAIS knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Apply underwriting policies and procedures when assisting broker activities.
• Compile quotations, including rates and pricing, for broker consultants.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams, brokers and external stakeholders.
• Record and maintain details of insurance transactions accurately.
• Handle broker queries professionally, telephonically and in writing.
• Ensure compliance with FAIS requirements and internal procedures.
• Monitor SLA deadlines and deliver timely broker support.
• Provide technical short-term insurance knowledge to broker consultants.
• Assist in timely processing of broker requests.
