Job summary

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Broker Support professional for our client in Bloemfontein. The role provides administrative and technical support to broker consultants, handling quotations, underwriting requirements and policy-related transactions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, attention to detail and knowledge of short-term insurance, with a focus on client service and stakeholder relationship management.

Qualifications

• Matric and NQF4 in Short-Term Insurance are required.
• Minimum 3 years in commercial underwriting or sales support in short-term insurance.
• Technical knowledge of short-term insurance products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply underwriting policies and procedures for broker activities.
• Compile quotations with suggested rates and pricing.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, brokers and stakeholders.
• Record and maintain details of insurance transactions accurately.
• Handle broker queries professionally, telephonically and in writing.
• Ensure FAIS compliance and internal procedures.
• Monitor SLA deadlines and reporting.
