Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Broker Support professional for our client in Bloemfontein. The role provides administrative and technical support to broker consultants, handling quotations, underwriting requirements and policy-related transactions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, attention to detail and knowledge of short-term insurance, with a focus on client service and stakeholder relationship management.

Qualifications

• Matric and NQF4 in Short-Term Insurance are required.
• Minimum 3 years in commercial underwriting or sales support in short-term insurance.
• Technical knowledge of short-term insurance products and processes.

Responsabilités

• Apply underwriting policies and procedures for broker activities.

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Broker Support professional on behalf of our client, based in Bloemfontein

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to broker consultants, ensuring the efficient handling of quotations, underwriting requirements, broker queries and policy-related transactions.

This role requires a detail-oriented and service-driven individual with sound technical knowledge of short-term insurance, strong communication skills and the ability to maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply underwriting policies and procedures when assisting with broker-related activities.
• Compile quotations, including suggested rates and pricing, on behalf of broker consultants.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, brokers and external stakeholders.
• Accurately record and maintain details of insurance transactions.
• Handle broker queries professionally, both telephonically and in writing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FAIS requirements and internal procedures.
• Monitor and meet service-level agreement (SLA) deadlines.
• Provide technical short-term insurance knowledge and support to broker consultants.
• Assist in ensuring the efficient and timely processing of broker requests.

Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• NQF Level 4 qualification in Short-Term Insurance.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in commercial underwriting and/or sales support within the short-term insurance industry.
• Technical knowledge of short-term insurance products and processes.
• Commercial and agricultural insurance knowledge will be advantageous.
• Experience with policy administration, insurance product systems and TIAL will be advantageous.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
