Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a customer-focused in-store operative to execute POS transactions, promote clubcard memberships and maintain merchandising standards. You will ensure accurate cash handling, drive promotions and deliver a friendly, professional service to customers.

Desirable candidates have basic maths skills, a retail/FMCG background, and a solid understanding of customer service excellence. Grade 12 is preferred and you will work in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including clubcard rewards.
To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
To promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet targets.
To inform customers of promotions to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
To deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador in-store.
To maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards per store guidelines.
To support Clicks’ vision as the health and beauty retailer of choice, living the company values.
To stay updated on products, ranges, promotions and events to provide accurate information.
