Job summary

Clicks Group Limited seeks a cashier/ops assistant to support point-of-sale activities and merchandising in store. You will handle scanning, payments and clubcard enrollments, while promoting promotions to customers and delivering friendly service as a brand ambassador.

Maintain accuracy in cash handling, uphold store standards and stock procedures, and assist with promotions and customer inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience and repeat visits.

Responsibilities

• Execute all POS operational activities efficiently.
• Maintain accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including clubcard enrollments.
• Ensure safe cash handling at all times.
• Promote Clicks' clubcard and enroll new members.
• Inform customers about promotions to drive sales.
• Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador.
• Maintain merchandising and housekeeping to store standards.
• Support the company's vision to be customers' first choice health and beauty retailer.
• Maintain updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions and events.

• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards.
• To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
• To proactively promote the Clicks' clubcard and to enroll new clubcard members in order to achieve the clubcard participation targets.
• To make customers aware of promotions in order to positively affect sales and to ensure customers "feel good and pay less".
• To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering a friendly and professional service.
