Job summary

Scholtz Partners International seeks a motivated Sales Technician to assist customers with sheet metal product enquiries, prepare quotations, and provide basic technical advice. You will help grow the client base by developing strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

You will read basic technical drawings or CAD designs and liaise with production to ensure deadlines are met. Excellent communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic ability to read and understand technical drawings or CAD drawings.
• Good numerical, computer and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Assist with preparing quotations based on technical drawings and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Generate new business opportunities and identify potential customers.
• Provide basic technical advice regarding materials and manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings and CAD designs.
• Follow up on orders and liaise with production to meet deadlines.
• Assist with tracking orders from quotation stage through to delivery.
