Job summary

Durpro Workforce Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Johannesburg to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities for engineered steel structures. You will work with engineering teams, read drawings, and manage key client relationships across industrial and commercial markets.

Role requires 3 years in technical or construction sales, a National Diploma, and strong consultative selling and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum academic qualification: National Diploma.
• Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science or Quantity Surveying is an added advantage.
• Experience: 3 years in technical or construction sales.
• Industry knowledge in steel/building materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits.
• Prepare quotations with engineering teams.
• Negotiate and close deals.
• Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and identify upsell opportunities.
• Liaise with engineering and production teams for project execution.
• Submit sales reports and forecasts; maintain CRM records.
