Job summary

picknpay is hiring for a retail role focused on product preparation, stocking and customer assistance. You will wrap or prepare products per standards and maintain hygiene and safety in the store environment.

Proven reliability and numeracy are valued, with English communication required. The position involves engaging with customers, following pricing labels, rotating stock and ensuring cold-chain where needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum requirement.
• Basic computer literacy is advantageous.
• English communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Stack and store products in a safe, tidy manner.
• Merchandise products according to laid down standards.
• Price random weight/loose items accurately.
• Check correct pricing and labels.
• Check quality, rotate stock, remove expired stock.
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage and damages.
• Monitor temperatures and maintain cold chain where applicable.
• Follow security procedures and operate equipment safely.
• Assist customers politely with product queries and requests.
• Process customer orders following procedures and service standards.
• Promote products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
