Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town is seeking a practical IT support specialist to deliver first-line helpdesk services, manage Windows 10 endpoints, Office 365, and laptop maintenance while imaging OS and deploying antivirus.

You will document configurations, allocate resources, and work with teams to resolve issues, using strong problem-solving and collaboration to ensure service levels and up-to-date systems.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 and Windows systems.
• Laptop OS installation and maintenance experience.
• PC & Laptop hardware maintenance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
• Understanding of Avaya, Helpdesk, Citrix and Server toolsets.
• Experience supporting Windows 10, Windows 7, Stratodesk and Citrix environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement IT support procedures for first-line helpdesk.
• Answer helpdesk calls and allocate resources accordingly.
• Support Windows 10 endpoints and Microsoft Office 365.
• Perform laptop maintenance, OS imaging and rebuilding as needed.
• Deploy antivirus software to endpoints and ensure compliance.
• Deliver assigned project tasks within the agreed timescale.
• Keep documentation and configurations up to date.
