Placements24 is partnering with a George-based civil engineering practice to recruit a Water Resources Civil Engineer. You will lead design and implementation of water supply, drainage and wastewater systems, applying hydraulics and hydrology expertise to drive project delivery.

The role emphasizes developing detailed engineering designs, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring environmental and water quality compliance across the Western Cape projects.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering with focus on Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• At least 5 years of water resources or infrastructure design experience.
• Pr Eng designation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis for water distribution and flood control.
• Develop detailed designs, drawings and specs for water resource projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and water quality standards.
• Collaborate with municipal authorities and environmental consultants.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources.
