Placements24 is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead critical municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects from our Rustenburg office. You will oversee design, modeling and delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable solutions for the North West province.

The role requires a BEng in Civil Engineering with Water Resources specialization, Pr.Eng registration, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with hydraulic modeling tools and GIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Water Resources/Environmental focus.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• 10+ years of experience in municipal water resources engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of municipal water supply networks, treatment plants and distribution systems.
• Plan wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
• Develop stormwater management plans and infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments and cost-benefit analyses.
• Mentor engineers and technicians; manage budgets, timelines and resources.
• Engage with clients, authorities and stakeholders to ensure project success.
