Placements24 seeks an experienced Operations Manager for a leading entertainment venue in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will oversee day-to-day venue operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house and technical teams, and drive policies to ensure efficient, high-quality guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, a background in hospitality/events, and a proven ability to optimize operations, manage budgets, and uphold safety standards in a dynamic entertainment space.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in entertainment, events or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with a track record of delivering high-quality customer service.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and security regulations relevant to public venues.
• Excellent financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and manage daily venue operations across front-of-house, back-of-house, and technical departments.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee staffing, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure health, safety, and security regulations are met; conduct regular inspections.
• Manage budgets and identify savings opportunities; control costs.
• Coordinate with event organizers and stakeholders to ensure successful events.
• Negotiate with suppliers and ensure quality of service.
• Implement customer service standards and monitor guest feedback.
• Oversee maintenance of the venue and equipment; manage emergency response plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational performance.
