Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Restaurant Floor Manager for a popular Vereeniging venue. The role focuses on smooth front-of-house operations, delivering exceptional service, and leading the FOH team to create memorable dining experiences in Vereeniging.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in restaurant management, strong leadership, and a passion for hospitality, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor in a busy restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently met.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively and professionally.
• Manage table reservations and optimize seating arrangements.
• Oversee inventory of front-of-house supplies and ensure proper stock levels.
• Train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to the team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Implement restaurant policies and procedures.
