Job summary

Placements24, a forward-thinking civil engineering firm, is seeking a design specialist for urban infrastructure projects. The role focuses on conceptual and detailed design of roads, drainage, utilities, and public realm elements, using CAD and BIM tools in a remote-first setting.

You will collaborate with a dispersed team of engineers and planners, deliver hydraulic modeling, site analyses, and technical reports, while maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability from your home

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with urban infrastructure focus.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA desirable.
• 7+ years in urban civil infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.
• Experience with stormwater modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM).
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed civil infrastructure design for urban development projects.
• Create concept designs, master plans, and detailed drawings in CAD/BIM.
• Perform hydraulic modeling for stormwater systems.
• Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs during construction.
