Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead the design of major civil infrastructure projects, from concept through construction documentation. You will work with a remote, globally distributed team of engineers, architects and PMs, leveraging industry best practices to deliver sustainable solutions.

The role requires a PE license, a strong project portfolio, and proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and Bentley software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive civil design experience with a strong project portfolio.
• PE license (or equivalent) required.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, Bentley software.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of major civil engineering projects, including site development, transportation networks, and water/wastewater systems.
• Produce detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications using advanced civil engineering software.
• Conduct thorough site analysis, environmental impact assessments, and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers remotely.
• Actively participate in virtual project meetings, client consultations, and peer reviews to ensure design integrity and project success.
