Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will design site development plans for urban projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and road infrastructure, leveraging Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of urban site design experience, and must be a registered Pr. Eng with ECSA, with strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil site design for urban or land development.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA is required.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design site development plans including grading, earthworks, stormwater management, and utilities for urban projects.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and engineering reports using standard software.
• Ensure compliance with local municipal requirements, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct hydraulic and hydrological analyses for stormwater systems and drainage networks.
• Collaborate remotely with architects, planners, and consultants to integrate designs.
• Review and stamp engineering plans and calculations per professional standards.
