Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years in compensation and benefits management.
• Expertise in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and incentives.
• Knowledge of South African labour laws related to compensation and benefits.
• Experience with multiple employee benefits programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the compensation philosophy and strategy.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive salary and benefits packages.
• Design and administer salary structures, pay grades, and incentive programs.
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits legislation in South Africa.
• Analyze the effectiveness of current compensation and benefits programs and recommend adjustments.
• Manage relationships with benefits providers and brokers.
• Develop clear and concise communication materials for employees regarding compensation and benefits.
• Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and management on compensation and benefits matters.
• Participate in HR projects related to total rewards and organizational design.
