Job summary

Jobs 4 All is recruiting for a Tier 2 Technical Support / Systems Administrator based in Benoni. The role focuses on escalation of Tier 1 issues, systems administration, and infrastructure maintenance to keep core IT services running smoothly.

You will manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server environments, and drive patching, documentation, and project support. Willingness to travel and after-hours standby may be required.

Qualifications

• Matric required.
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications preferred.
• Microsoft Certification (Modern Desktop, Azure or 365) or equivalent required/noted.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated technical incidents and service requests.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, user accounts, and permissions.
• Support Windows Server environments and Group Policy management.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and business applications.
• Perform endpoint management, patching, and software updates.
• Assist with server administration, backups, virtual environments, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Monitor systems, investigate recurring issues, and recommend improvements.
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Mentor Tier 1 technicians and promote best practices.
