Key Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of software engineering and IT roles. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates in the competitive tech market. Partner closely with engineering managers and hiring teams to understand technical requirements and team dynamics. Build and nurture talent pipelines for key technologies and skill sets. Screen resumes, conduct technical interviews, and assess candidate qualifications. Manage the offer process, including negotiation and closing candidates. Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top tech talent. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical recruitment. Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, with a strong focus on software development roles. Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring software engineers, developers, and related IT professionals. Deep understanding of various programming languages, frameworks, and software development methodologies. Excellent interviewing, assessment, and candidate evaluation skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies. Ability to build relationships with technical talent and hiring managers. A proactive, results-oriented approach and a passion for technology recruitment. Experience in the Benoni or wider Gauteng tech scene is a plus.
