You'll bridge technical teams and business stakeholders, manage SDLC-driven initiatives, and mentor engineers and IT professionals. A strong background in Agile/Waterfall and relevant certifications is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical project management in IT or software environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technical projects.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or ITIL are advantageous.
• Experience working in Klerksdorp or North West province is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of complex technical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with technical leads and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor project teams comprised of engineers, developers, and IT specialists.
• Ensure effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Oversee the implementation of software, hardware, and infrastructure projects.
• Manage vendor relationships and the procurement of technical resources.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, quality assurance protocols, and best practices.
• Provide regular project status reports to senior management.
