Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Midrand, Gauteng, to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives through full lifecycle. You will drive plans, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with developers, analysts, and designers, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and proficiency with PM tools and methodologies (PMI/Prince2/Agile). A hybrid work model in Gauteng is available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience in project management, enterprise-level technology projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with MS Project, JIRA, Asana; knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong SDLC and IT infrastructure understanding.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing project budgets and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, goals, deliverables, timelines and resources.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and resource allocation to meet financial objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, analysts and designers.
• Oversee execution of project plans, monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Communicate with stakeholders; provide status reports and metrics.
• Ensure adherence to PM methodologies and quality standards.
• Facilitate project meetings and drive actionable outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts; ensure deliverables meet obligations.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify process improvements.
