Job summary

Placements24 in Stellenbosch seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead technology implementation projects, including software deployments, system integrations and IT infrastructure upgrades. You will oversee timelines, budgets, resources and stakeholder communications to ensure seamless adoption and realized business value.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in tech project delivery, with Agile/Scrum and SDLC experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on technology implementation and IT projects.
Proven experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and familiarity with SDLC.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and deployment of technology projects, including software development, system integrations, and IT infrastructure upgrades.
Define project scope, objectives, key deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with IT leadership and business units.
Develop detailed project plans, manage resource allocation, track budgets, and monitor project progress using project management tools.
Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and address challenges.
Manage risks and issues associated with technology implementations, developing and executing mitigation plans.
Ensure successful user adoption and post-implementation support for all deployed technologies.
