Placements24 is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Industrial Engineer in Richards Bay to lead end-to-end optimization across sourcing, logistics and distribution. The role leverages data analytics and advanced modeling to deliver resilient, cost-efficient and high-service supply chains.

The successful candidate will drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor teams, and enhance 3PL partnerships while ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainability in a demanding industrial environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain.
• Proven expertise in network design, inventory optimization, and logistics.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in modeling and simulation tools.

Mansioni

• Analyze and map current supply chain processes for efficiency and cost improvements.
• Develop and implement optimization initiatives including network design and inventory strategies.
• Use simulation and statistical analysis to model supply chain scenarios.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics and sales for integrated operations.
• Establish KPIs and monitor supply chain health and deviations.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve visibility, risk management and sustainability.
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers and external partners.
• Introduce tech solutions to improve planning, execution and visibility.
