The ideal candidate has 10+ years in oil and gas subsurface roles, with expertise in seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and reservoir characterization, using Petrel/Kingdom/GeoGraphix.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geophysics, Geology, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in subsurface geoscience roles within the oil and gas industry, with a strong emphasis on exploration and development.
• Proven expertise in seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and reservoir characterization.
• Proficiency with industry-standard subsurface interpretation and modeling software (Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix).
• Strong understanding of petroleum systems, basin analysis, and exploration risk assessment.

Responsabilités

• Integrate and interpret geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and engineering data to build comprehensive subsurface models.
• Conduct detailed basin analysis, play fairway mapping, and prospect evaluation.
• Perform advanced seismic interpretation, including structural and stratigraphic analysis, and seismic attribute studies.
• Analyze well logs, core data, and other formation evaluation datasets to characterize reservoir properties and quality.
• Develop and refine geological and static reservoir models, incorporating uncertainties and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers to define dynamic reservoir behavior and support production planning.
• Provide geophysical and geological input for exploration and development drilling campaigns.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and prospect evaluations for management and joint venture partners.
• Contribute to data management strategies and ensure the quality and integrity of subsurface data.
• Mentor junior geoscientists and contribute to the technical development of the subsurface team.
