Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to join a Stellenbosch-based consultancy. You will design and analyze building structures across commercial, residential, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with SA codes and safety standards.

The role includes client collaboration, site inspections, and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates have a minimum of six years in design, strong software proficiency (SAP2000, ETABS, Revit Structure), and relevant ECSA registration.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Professional registration with ECSA as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng.
• Minimum 6 years post-graduate experience in structural engineering design.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS and Revit Structure for analysis and design.
• Strong knowledge of South African building codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Design and analyze building structures using concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Conduct site inspections during construction for design and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and consultants to meet project objectives.
