Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Structural Engineering from a leading university.
• Professional registration as a Pr. Eng with ECSA is essential.
• Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in structural design of high-rise and complex structures.
• Proven track record leading structural design for significant architectural projects.
• Expert proficiency in advanced structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, MIDAS) and BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis of high-rise buildings and complex structures.
• Develop innovative structural systems meeting aesthetics, function, and performance.
• Perform advanced modeling and analysis including seismic and wind loading.
• Prepare comprehensive structural design reports, drawings, and specifications for challenging projects across Gauteng.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and construction teams to optimize designs.
• Mentor and lead a team of structural engineers and designers.
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure compliance with SANS and international codes.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and client relationships.
