Job summary

C3R is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specialising in Structural Engineering to lead complex projects in Centurion, Gauteng. The role involves advanced structural design, project management, construction oversight, client engagement and mentoring within our Civil & Structural Engineering team.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, is ECSA-registered (Pr Eng), has 8+ years of structural experience, and is proficient with Prokon, Robot Structural Analysis, IDEA StatiCa, AutoCAD,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
ECSA Pr Eng registration is essential.
Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience.
Proven experience leading complex structural projects.
Strong knowledge of design principles and codes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering studies, designs and deliverables across multiple projects.
Perform structural analyses and calculations per codes and standards.
Manage project planning, budgets and technical risks.
Provide technical leadership during construction and site inspections.
Review and approve designs within delegation limits.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety requirements.
Mentor junior engineers and draughtsmen.
Maintain client relationships and contribute to proposals and business development.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and technologies.
