Job summary

C3 Resource Investments (Pty) Ltd is seeking a senior structural engineer to lead major packages, directing feasibility, concept design and performance-based design initiatives with full technical responsibility. You will prepare structural drawings, specifications and technical reports for permitting, tenders and construction, while ensuring compliance with local and international codes and standards.

The role also covers project management and site oversight, mentoring staff and leading

Qualifications

Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
ECSA professional registration is required.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Lead complex feasibility studies and design initiatives with technical responsibility for major packages.
Prepare drawings, specifications and reports for permitting, tendering and construction.
Perform structural analysis using hand methods or FE tools to meet standards.
Provide design alternatives addressing durability, lifecycle cost and sustainability.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure integrated engineering designs.
Sign off on design deliverables within senior delegation limits; review critical details.
Manage multiple projects; oversee risk, financials and client communications.
Lead site teams during construction and participate in dispute resolution.
