Job summary

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience, strong knowledge of disabilities, and the ability to collaborate with families, therapists, and school staff to support student growth and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education or related field is required.
• Master’s degree is highly preferred for advanced practice.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Strong knowledge of disabilities and learning challenges and IEP development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student.
• Deliver specialized instruction for diverse disabilities and needs.
• Assess progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, therapists, psychologists, and staff for holistic care.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom and mentor junior staff.
